Entry Before and After – Wall Removed

It was most likely in the late 1940’s a wall was constructed in the entry to create one of the apartments. I couldn’t wait to see how the entry would look with the wall removed. Wow! It is so much better now with an open entry. Light from the side room (which will be the office) floods the entry. The curved staircase really stands out now. The oak entry floors extend into the hallway. They have been patched (rather poorly) probably due to a leak in the ceiling as we could see there had been some water damage above. Check out the colorfully wall paper that was behind the wall. It even could have been the wallpaper that the Haymans installed in the entry.
